[Artwork: by "Lotiz"] This single release features New York Jazz Violinist Jim Nolet with the prodigical Jazz pianist Arturo O'Farrill“ and Trumpet virtuoso Tim Hagans, both whom have grammy nominations. The hard hitting rhythm section includes Master Afro-Cuban percussionist Eddie Bobe, Darryl Hall on double bass and Reggie Nicholson on drums. Nolet, as many of the artists on this record, grew up playing charanga and various afrocuban styles in Loisada Nueva York, styles such as is reflected in "Shhh...Escuche". Nolet and O'Farrill's string sounds dance through slick charanga themes in this piece with layers of polyrhythms imbedded with soulful montuno nuances. {Special thanks to Angelica, Ana Luisa, Patricinha, Kevin, Jason, Cecilia and Corina}
